Women are at a higher risk of developing urinary tract
infections (UTIs) compared to men. SMX-TMP, a sulfonamide
antibiotic that contains sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim, is
commonly used to treat UTIs. However, people with a sulfa
allergy should avoid this medication.
女性比男性更容易得泌尿道感染。SMX-TMP 是一種含有sulfamethoxazole和trimethoprim的磺醯胺類抗生素，常用來治療泌尿道感染。不過，對磺胺類藥物過敏的人應該避免使用這種藥物。
