二、疫苗接種選擇與順序
美國預防接種諮詢委員會（Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, ACIP）建議，65歲以上成人應接種PCV13，並搭配PPSV23。針對19歲至未滿65歲、具高風險疾病或狀況者，包括：慢性肺病、心血管疾病、糖尿病、慢性腎病、腎病症候群、慢性肝病（含肝硬化）、酗酒、人工耳蝸植入、腦脊髓液滲漏、免疫缺乏症、功能性或解剖性無脾症，以及安養機構或醫療機構長期住民與抽菸者，建議優先接種PCV13，並於8週後接種PPSV23。（表二）
PCV13= 13 價結合型肺炎鏈球菌疫苗；PPV23= 23 價多醣體肺炎鏈球菌疫苗
註1. PPV23與前一劑PCV13間隔至少1年（高風險對象間隔至少8週）
註2. PPV23與前一劑PPV23間隔至少5年
註3. PCV13與前一劑PPV23間隔至少1年年
高風險對象定義：
慢性肺病、心血管疾病、糖尿病、慢性腎病、腎病症候群、慢性肝病（含肝硬化）、酗酒、人工耳蝸植入、腦脊髓液滲漏、免疫缺乏症、功能性或解剖性無脾症，以及安養機構或醫療機構長期住民與抽菸者。
